Summer
by the River
Our very first Rep Team session started the way so many of my sessions do — with flower crowns.
Flower crowns are a little bit of my signature, so I showed the girls how to weave wildflowers and greenery, and each of them created her very own crown. Then, for our Summer — By the River theme, we spent a golden September evening at Anderson Falls: a riverside picnic, paper fans, bare feet in the water, and golden hour at the falls.

Once the crowns were done, we set up a little picnic right on the river rocks: a pink gingham blanket, fancy glasses, sparkling apple cider (non-alcoholic, of course!) and my homemade rhubarb, apple, almond & lemon cake. The perfect way to get to know each other and toast to the year ahead.

Exploring the River
Then it was time to explore. We wandered along the creek, hopped across the rocks… and yes, a few of us ended up splashed!

We finished the evening in the golden light — first in a tall-grass field, then in front of the waterfall.
